Profile |
Ron, who is the main tech at bits n' BYTES, began his relationship with business machines while serving in the U.S. military in the late 1960s. This relationship blossomed after the service as Ron worked with all types of office business machines for Saxon Industries and began to see the growing age of the computer. Ultimately, Ron came to work for the Toshiba Corporation in 1982 and ended up working on the team that was among the first to put forward DNA fingerprinting by computer processing at Automated Microbiology. In 1992, the call to head back to small town life hit both Ron and Kay and they moved back to Dalhart to oversee family land interests and to begin their own businesses. Ron's wife Kay, who has her own business, Kay Howell Bookeeping and Tax Service, oversees the bookeeping, recievables and payables of bits n' BYTES, thus making it a true family endeavor. Both Ron and Kay invite you to look through the website and then feel free to call or e-mail them for any information you might need or any questions you may have. |
